I went to work with Kim at the bakery. It was fun to be around such yummy food all day and I went home feeling sick from all the sugar. Kim also let me keep the tips we earned that day!

Summer Trips part 2: Pocatello, Idaho
A few weeks after getting back to Idaho, Kim and Jacob invited us down to their place for the weekend. Then my sis Louisa and bro Will joined us last minute.
I went to work with Kim at the bakery. It was fun to be around such yummy food all day and I went home feeling sick from all the sugar. Kim also let me keep the tips we earned that day!
That night we went to their church's spaghetti dinner: spaghetti is still my fave!
They had a silent auction and Lou really wanted this quilt, but she didn't want to look cheap so she bid for it, then had me bid so she could out bid me. She was happy to get it.
Waiting for the Redbox
If you're ever driving through Pokey look for this employee dancing outside Little Caesar's. She was funny to watch.
We went to the Popcorn Store and sampled all the flavors. We got Jalapeno Cheddar and Huckleberry.

We went to the park and Jacob taught us the game Bocce ball. I won!
Lou pretending she's the mom from "The Boy with the Striped Pajamas."

Summer Trips part 1: California
When we left Hawaii we spent 4 days with Scott, Ashlyn, and Aubree in California. We got to do a lot of fun stuff including In-n-Out Burger, the beach, kayaking, Hollywood/LA, and the LA temple. It was also fun to meet Aubree.

This place is amazing! You pick out 2 fresh-baked cookies and an ice cream and they make a sandwich for you for $1.50. Imagine warm chocolate chip cookies surrounding cookies and cream ice cream. The cookies are so fresh the chips are melting on your fingers. It was the best dessert ever. Poor Rob chose oatmeal raisin cookies (his fav) with peanut butter ice cream (his fav); not a good combo.
We met Homer
And I finally saw the Hollywood sign. Rob could have cared less about seeing all these things but he was a good sport and let me have fun.
Thanks Biglers for the fun time and letting us stay with you.
Look at her cute face at In-n-Out. Thanks to the Biglers we now know what "animal style" is at In-n-Out and it is delicious!

Kayaking to Moks Island
One of the most perfect days/nights we had in Hawaii was when we kayaked in Kailua. We went with the Dalleys and Ngauamos.
On the first island.

Kauai
Our last week in Hawaii we went to Kauai with Brandon and Katelyn. It was so amazing! It is the prettiest Hawaiian island of the 3 I've been on. It's what I pictured Hawaii would look like before I went there. We saw some beautiful places, enjoyed the most peaceful sunsets, and hiked the most breathtaking hike. And to top it off, we were there with some of our BEST friends. I just wish we would have planned for 4 days instead of 2.
On the plane ride home I started bawling because it sank in that in a week we would be flying on another plane, leaving this gorgeous paradise. Visiting Kauai did not make leaving any easier. I hope you enjoy our pictures and that you can visit there one day. (There are 46 pics!)
