Another place we wanted to visit was Waimea Valley. In the valley, you walk through the gardens which take you to a waterfall. There were a ton of native plants and flowers to look at. Rob was so happy to be able to swim under the waterfall.
Rob took this picture from behind the fall.
The water was so cold!
I stayed on the board.Peacocks roam free here, and they are loud. They wouldn't pose with Rob but they would with me.
We finished with a trip to Kava Roots for an acai bowl. It was a fun day.
I can't believe how big some of those leaves are! And that's crazy how close you got to the peacock! Thanks for sharing more of your beautiful pics of Hawaii.
Rob and I have been married for 9 years! Rob is in law school and I'm living the fab life of a substitute teacher. We've lived in 5 states with 14 different addresses resulting in friends all over the world. We love to travel and are always excited to see what life will bring next.
